Deer Creek Watershed Alliance
Rainscaping Cost-Share Program
Rainscaping is landscaping specifically designed to sustainably manage stormwater as close as possible to where it falls, reducing runoff that contributes to water pollution, health challenges and property damage. Rainscaping also adds aesthetic appeal to your landscape, can raise property value, and can address issues such as wet areas and erosion.
Rainscaping uses any combination of plantings, water features, catch basins, permeable pavement, and other activities. Depending on your specific needs, your rainscape may employ rain gardens and bioswales, along with a diverse planting area including trees, shrubs, perennials, mulch and amended soils, to reuse rainwater before it becomes runoff.
Larkspur Inc. is an approved contractor for the Deer Creek Watershed Alliance Rainscaping Cost-Share Program. In this program, landowners in program focus areas are eligible to receive a rebate of 75% of approved and documented costs, up to a maximum of $4,500, for project design, implementation, and/or maintenance.
